2024 Marchwood Rally

We’re returning to Marchwood. A surprising location, in an interesting surroundings, with some nice walks along the bank of the River Test.

GXSA Regulars will know the proven format for the weekend:

Find a friendly Skipper, with a boat
Pontoon Party starts at 6:00pm. An opportunity to catch up with friends, and make new friends.
Dinner starts at 7:30pm. TBC if this will be a la carte, ordered and paid by you on the night, or pre-ordered from a set menu.
The party continues until everyone’s exhausted
Sunday morning sees a variety of potential activities: Coffee in the Marchwood, or a walk along the River Test to the Eling Tide Mill museum.
We could even turn it into a dinghy invasion fleet !!
Departure for home around midday.

If you’d like to come along:

Skippers – Please confirm your boat and plans by email. Who will be in your crew? Do you intend to join us Friday evening? Any other plans.
No Boat? – Let us know if you’d like to come along: Use the email. We can usually find a kindly skipper who can offer you a berth.
