Background
The
association formed in 1965, is affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association
and has around 300 members with interests extending to anything that
floats or has floated - yachts, dinghies, multihulls, motor sailers,
motor cruisers, narrowboats - they may cruise, race, charter or simply
potter about. Most have a general interest in maritime matters or use
the Association to retain contact with friends after "swallowing
the anchor".
